While filesonic closed its sharing functionality (termporary or not) we uploaded latest releases on bitshare, its temporary step, until filesonic will back or we find new file host (with ftp upload) or other way.

We should wait at least one week, FileSonic may back with full sharing functionality.

2012 bad & good news

Good 2012 news are: SOPA & PIPA = RIP

PIPA, if passed, will give U.S. corporations and the government the right to seek affirmative legal action with any website that they see as enabling copyright infringement whether of U.S. origin or not.

SOPA, if passed, will work in conjunction with PIPA. As described by such entities as the Electronic Frontier Foundation, SOPA is nothing more so than the U.S. government and private corporations black list.

Both acts FAILED.

Bad 2012 news are: MEGAUPLOAD = RIP

MegaUpload, one of the largest file-sharing sites on the Internet, has been shut down by federal prosecutors in Virginia. The site’s founder Kim Dotcom and three others were arrested by the police in New Zealand at the request of US authorities. MegaVideo, the streaming site belonging to same company, and a total of 18 domains connected to the Mega company were seized and datacenters in three countries raided.

Today filesonic has a strange behaviour, all files can be downloaded only by person who uploaded it.
Dont panic, lets wait some days, and see what support will answer.
Maybe it's time to search for a new file host.
